Applications:

OUR INDUSTRIAL HARD GRAINS ARE USED:

IN BONDED ABRASIVES: (mainly for PBX)

  • e.g. Flour Milling Stones, Rice Polisher Stones, Pulse Mills, Grinding Wheels (Resin / Cement / Chemical bond), Polishing blocks (e.g. for granite floors)

IN COATED ABRASIVES: (mainly for PBX)

  • e.g. Emery Paper, Sandpaper, Buffing cloth Wheels/Flaps

IN PRESSURE BLASTING: (mainly for PBX)

  • e.g. Shot Blasting (e.g. for metal cleaning, ship repair)

IN METAL FINISHING: (mainly for BAB)

  • e.g. Polishing / Buffing

IN BUILDING / CONSTRUCTION CHEMICALS BUSINESS (mainly for PBX / SMS):

  • e.g. For non-slip floor/tiles, as Floor hardeners, Hard Aggregates, as Cement additives, or even as cost effective substitutes for River sand, especially our SMS. Resistant to wear, slip, abrasion, impact. Chemically Inert, & Resistant to water, solvents, oils, alkalis, acids. Anti-static, Spark resistant: suitable for aircraft hangars & explosives factories.

AS A RAW MATERIAL:

  • e.g. In cast-iron foundry in small ratio, In steel furnaces as flux

IN REFRACTORIES (mainly for Hard Heated Bauxite (BG))

  • For brick making, lining of furnaces for glass, steel

BAB indicates non-virgin Electro-fused Brown Aluminum Oxide.

PBX indicates Emery, i.e. Bauxite processed in coke burning kilns.

SMS indicates cost effective sieved hard aggregates.

BG indicates High temperature heated hard good quality Bauxite.
